Manama, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Foreign Affairs Minister, today received a phone call from Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, Foreign Affairs Minister of Oman, and the Chairman of the current session of the Ministerial Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The two ministers discussed the latest developments of the situation in the Gaza Strip and the ongoing fighting between Hamas and the Israeli forces.
They also discussed ways to enhance joint GCC cooperation and coordination among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, as well as continue contacts with other states to de-escalate the situation, protect civilians and open safe corridors to deliver humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza.
