Four Palestinians were martyred on Wednesday as a result of Israeli bombing targeting Gaza and Rafah cities, as part of the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip since last October 7. Two Palestinians were martyred after being targeted by a missile from an Israeli drone on Al-Sikka Street in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA). Two other Palestinians were also martyred in an Israeli occupation artillery shelling targeting the vicinity of Al-Alam Roundabout, west of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, bringing the number of martyrs in the city since dawn Wednesday to 12. The Israeli occupation forces destroyed more than 70 percent of Rafahs facilities and infrastructure, including burning and destroying all of the Rafah crossing halls and its facilities, local sources said. The occupation forces continue to close the crossing after they occupied the Palestinian side of it on May 7, following the start of their ground invasion of R afah city. The number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli aggression on the last Oct. 7, has reached 37,396 martyrs, in addition to 85,523 injured, the majority of whom are children and women.
