French President Emmanuel Macron has called for a halt to arms deliveries to Israel that will be used in its war in Gaza, saying that the priority is a political solution rather than continuing the war. "I think that today, the priority is that we return to a political solution, that we stop delivering weapons to fight in Gaza," Macron told broadcaster France Inter in an interview aired on Saturday. "France is not delivering any," he added. The French president expressed frustration over the ongoing war despite all diplomatic efforts to reach a ceasefire. Macron also said avoiding an escalation in Lebanon was a "priority". "The Lebanese people must not be sacrificed in turn, Lebanon cannot become another Gaza," he said. Source: Qatar News Agency
