Gaza - Together - The Civil Defense in Gaza appealed to international organizations to pressure Israel to allow the entry of equipment to rescue the injured and exhume the bodies of the martyrs. He added that the accumulation of thousands of bodies under the rubble began to cause the spread of diseases and epidemics due to the high temperatures that accelerate the decomposition of the bodies. It was revealed that more than 10,000 missing persons are still under the rubble, and specialized crews have not been able to recover their bodies. According to the statement, in light of the unavailability of heavy equipment such as bulldozers and excavators, these efforts will remain insufficient and will not meet the minimum needs necessary to recover the bodies of thousands of martyrs. The Civil Defense said that working with this primitive mechanism would take two to three years, especially since UN officials estimated that the occupation bombing left at least 37 million tons of rubble and rubble in all the gov ernorates of the Gaza Strip. The General Directorate of Civil Defense renewed its appeal to all relevant parties, led by the United Nations, the World Health Organization, the International Committee for Civil Protection, and all workers and stakeholders in the humanitarian field. In order to intervene urgently and put pressure towards allowing the entry of the necessary heavy equipment. The Directorate confirmed that the introduction of the necessary equipment will enable saving the lives of those injured by the ongoing Israeli bombing of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, as well as exhuming the bodies of the martyrs that are decomposing under the rubble, and are causing a new health disaster for the population.
