A child was martyred. She was rescued from the womb of her mother, who was also martyred as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted her home in the southern Gaza Strip a few days ago. Doctors performed an emergency caesarean section to save Sabreen Al-Sakani after her mother, who was seven and a half months pregnant, was fatally injured in the raid on Saturday. After being resuscitated in Rafah Hospital, it was initially believed that the child was in stable condition, but the child died yesterday, Thursday. The girl was buried next to her mother, after whom she was named. The husband, Shukri, and their three-year-old daughter, Malak, were also martyred in the raid. The family was reportedly asleep at the time of the raid that targeted the family home shortly before midnight. Sabreen was among 18 children killed in two air strikes in Rafah at the weekend, as the Israeli army escalated its attack ahead of the planned attack on the area. Source: Maan News Agency
