GCC Secretary-General Jassim Mohammed AlBudaiwi has condemned the shooting incident that targeted the US embassy in Beirut, which resulted in the injury of one of the embassys guards. The GCC chief reiterated the GCC firm position regarding the protection of diplomatic missions, and rejecting all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism.
