Gaza: Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on the seventh of last October until now, the Give Palestine Association has implemented a series of emergency relief projects for the benefit of various segments of society there, especially the groups most affected by the aggression. The projects varied between providing meals, health and food parcels, blankets, clothes, and cash assistance to the displaced and affected people, churches, and orphans, in addition to providing psychological support sessions for thousands of children. The Director General of the Give Palestine Foundation, Dr. Raja Abu Ghazaleh, said that the Foundation, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression, began implementing a series of urgent interventions in order to alleviate the impact of the aggression on citizens. It began its interventions by providing blankets, mattresses, and food parcels to more than 4,000 displaced and affected families, and then followed it by granting Other cash assistance and the pr ovision of parcels of vegetables and food supplies to thousands of families and orphans. Abu Ghazaleh explained that with the intensification of the siege and aggression against northern Gaza, the Foundation provided 4,500 food parcels, benefiting about 30,000 of the most affected citizens. Among the most important projects implemented by the Foundation is the project to provide meals during the month of Ramadan, where the number of meals distributed to the needy reached about 55,000 meals. Abu Ghazaleh explained that the Foundation took into account the psychological dangers of war and its serious repercussions on children, as it began implementing a psychological support project that benefited about five thousand children. Abu Ghazaleh thanked the supporting institutions that did not delay in providing support to the organization, led by the Bank of Palestine and APIC, stressing that the association is looking forward to obtaining more immediate and rapid support to cover part of the urgent needs of cit izens in the Strip, especially in the afflicted northern Gaza region, which is exposed to a deadly famine. .
