Doha: Gold prices in the Qatari market fell by 2.06 percent during the current week, reaching USD 2,393.24000 per ounce, according to the data issued by Qatar National Bank (QNB). Comparing these data showed that the price of an ounce of gold fell from USD 2,443.80540 per ounce, which it recorded last Sunday. The data also indicated that the rest of the precious metals recorded declines on a weekly basis of 5.70 percent for silver, which reached USD 26.95440 per ounce today, down from USD 28.58500 recorded on Sunday, and 3.89 percent for platinum, which recorded USD 926.00000 per ounce today, compared to USD 963.53680 per ounce on Sunday.
