Gaza - Together - Hamas leader Musa Abu Marzouk said today, Tuesday, that Israel has not agreed to any proposal presented by the mediators within the framework of the truce negotiations in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners, stressing that there is no agreement on anything yet. Abu Marzouk said, 'All countries in the world support the ceasefire in Gaza, even the Israelis, with the exception of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,' noting that 'the occupation did not agree to any proposal presented by the mediators, and we have not agreed on anything yet.' Abu Marzouk added, "If Netanyahu wants to preserve the lives of the remaining prisoners, he must accept the Qatari-Egyptian proposal," stressing that "Hamas is negotiating seriously and responsibly and has accepted major concessions so far." Abu Marzouk revealed that Hamas 'reduced the number of prisoners and Israeli prisoners required to be exchanged in response to American demands,' considering that 'Netanyahu is sending a delegation without power s to thwart the agreement and is bombing Rafah under the pretext of pressuring Hamas.' Abu Marzouk added: "The occupation has not achieved any of its goals that it set for the war on Gaza, and closing the Rafah crossing is a simple step compared to the occupation's crimes in the Gaza Strip." He pointed out that "the exit of patients from the Rafah crossing was limited even before it was closed by the occupation forces, as only children and women were allowed to leave the crossing before it was closed." On Monday, Hamas announced that it had informed the Qatari and Egyptian mediators of its approval of their proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Source: Maan News Agency
