HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of Qatar Chamber (QC), affirmed the importance of 1000 Opportunities Initiative in bolstering the real partnership between the public and private sectors.
That came during an orientation seminar on 1000 Opportunities Initiative, which was organized by QC yesterday, in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI).
The initiative is regarded as an electronic platform launched by MOCI. The initiative aims at allowing Qatari investors to secure investment opportunities provided by major international and local companies operating in Qatar.
HE said that the initiative contributes to stimulating the business sectors in the State, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises to develop their products and services and become more competitive in the Qatari market. Thus, this will be in the best interest of the private sector to play a larger role in economic activity, as HE said.
