Head of Land Authority visits Al-Malha village in support of its people’s steadfastness

Bethlehem-Ma'an- The head of the Land Authority, Counselor Alaa Tamimi, visited the village of Al-Malha, east of Bethlehem, to support the steadfastness of the citizens. He met with the head and members of the village council and a group of villagers. He was accompanied by the general directors of the Survey and State Property Department, Saed Idais and Sadiq Abu Za'nouna. This visit comes under the directives of President Mahmoud Abbas to support the steadfastness of the citizens in this area threatened with demolition and displacement. The visit also comes in line with the vision of the Palestinian government. Al-Tamimi conveyed the greetings of the President and the Prime Minister to the residents, stressing to them that the visit comes in response to the threats of the occupation and its government that target everything Palestinian, and in response to Smotrich's visit and his threats to the region. Al-Tamimi confirmed that it comes with one logic, which is the power of occupation, and that Al-Malha wa s and will remain Palestinian land. Al-Tamimi was briefed on the most important needs of the region and agreed with the village council on a plan to implement and provide legal and administrative support to the region. For his part, Murad Jadal, head of the council and members of the village council of Al-Malha village, confirmed that such visits support the steadfastness of the residents in the region and the targeted areas. Al-Malha is being threatened by the occupation authorities, as they had recently announced their intention to carry out large-scale demolitions in the area, especially after the visit of the occupation's finance minister and his statements about his intention to displace its people.
