Head of the Libyan Presidential Council Muhammad Almanfi received a written message on Saturday from the Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu pertaining to the situation in Niger.
The media office of the Head of the Libyan Presidential Council stated that the message was delivered by special envoy of Nigerian President Baba Gana Kingibe.
Almanfi stressed, during the meeting, the importance of concerted efforts of the neighboring states of Niger (Libya, Algeria and Chad) with the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to restore respect for the constitutional legitimacy in Niger and avoid everything that would destabilize Niger and the region.
