Head of the National Investments Authority under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Umbriel Temiraliev has revealed many promising opportunities that can be pursued by the Qatari and Kyrgyz sides to launch economic and commercial projects, especially in view of the distinguished relations between the two countries that will be further boosted by the historic visit of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to his country.

Reviewing various possible trade opportunities between the two countries in the field of agricultural products, fruits, meat and forest products, he said his country has organic, natural products that can be exported to Qatar, while Qatar has extensive experience in the construction and infrastructure sector, an opportunity to benefit from its leading experience in the sector.

He called on Qatari businessmen to explore promising investment opportunities in his country, especially since Kyrgyzstan enjoys a distinguished geographical location in the heart of Central Asia, making it a starting and transit point for goods and products to Central Asian countries and other neighboring countries, in addition to facilities offered to foreign investors, including tax exemptions and rental lands on which factories are built as well as other incentives for investment.

He also noted his country's interest in the thriving real estate sector in Kyrgyzstan, which Qatari investors can enter, along with tourism projects, green energy projects, and electricity generation in many power plants across the country.
