Manama, Basem bin Yaqoub Al Hamar, President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB), met with Abhay Mittal, CEO of Singaporean company Aetosky, to discuss the key AI services and applications offered by the company for the AI-powered change detection and building violations system, launched by the Bureau in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture last August. Al Hamer emphasised the importance of adopting AI technologies as part of ongoing development efforts, including a comprehensive plan to meet the needs of the digital economy, integrate AI in production and service sectors, enhance technical infrastructure, and encourage targeted investments for maximum benefit. He also highlighted the significance of continuing to innovate AI solutions, particularly in smart archiving, which is a priority for the Bureau to improve property title documents and streamline their issuance procedures. The SLRB continues to strengthen its leadership in modern technology and spa tial data governance, in line with its vision to build a reliable, integrated national data system supporting various government sectors.
