HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa attends a celebration marking the 100th Anniversary of the first Municipal Council elections

Manama, On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, attended today a celebration at the Muharraq Municipality to mark the Kingdom's 100th Anniversary of the first Municipal Council elections. The celebration was held under the patronage of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman highlighted that the Kingdom's wide-ranging achievements have been attained due to the Kingdom's comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Turning to the 100th Anniversary of the first Municipal Council elections, His Highness highlighted that the Kingdom has made exemplary progress in municipal work. In this regard, HH acknowledged the signific ant role that municipal efforts have played in advancing the Kingdom's infrastructure, which is vital for supporting its dynamic economic and investment projects that provide quality opportunities for Bahraini citizens. His Highness concluded by extending his gratitude and appreciation to all municipal members, for their unwavering efforts and contributions that benefit all. His Highness further wished them continued success in their service to the Kingdom's communities. For his part, the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, HE Eng Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, highlighted that the Kingdom's municipal achievements were attained through the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. HE Eng Al Mubarak extended his gratitude to His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman for attending the ceremony. HE Eng Al Mubarak noted that the Kingdom's 100-year municipal history has become a model and a platform to be emulated globally . HE Eng Al Mubarak concluded by outlining the importance of municipalities in fostering community development and providing quality services to citizens and residents of the Kingdom.
