His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), was congratulated by Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agricultureon, the success of KHK Racing’s colt, "Vandeek", in winning the first place in Sumbe Prix Morny’s (G1) 1200-metre race at Deauville, France.
The minister affirmed that this achievement is a continuous success for equestrian sports in Bahrain, under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He said that this win reflects HH Shaikh Khalid’s strategy in leading the KHK Racing Team to increase Bahrain’s record of achievements, wishing HH and KHK Racing Team further success.
