His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), General Sports Authority (GSA) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, received Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak, the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, at the Al-Wadi Palace today.
HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, GSA Deputy Chairman, Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry’s Undersecretary, Khalid Ahmed Hassan, Undersecretary for Agriculture and Marine Resources at the same ministry, and Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, GSA’s CEO, were present.
HH Shaikh Khalid was briefed about the development projects the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry is planning to implement in order to support the sports system in the kingdom, as part of the integrated efforts of various government entities to serve the sports movement in the kingdom.
Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister expressed thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad for the distinguished efforts he is making to develop sports in Bahrain, stressing the Ministry’s keenness to cooperate with the GSA to support the sports sector in the kingdom.
