Manama, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), congratulated His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), on the occasion of Bahrain winning the gold medal in the women's 3000m steeplechase race at the Paris 2024 Olympics. HH Shaikh Nasser commended the role of HH Shaikh Khalid in contributing to Bahrain's gold medal achievement. HH Shaikh Nasser highlighted HH Shaikh Khalid's contributions to Bahraini sports, which have contributed to advancing Bahrain's position in the international sports arena. HH Shaikh Nasser also congratulated Mohamed Abdullatif bin Jalal, President of the Bahrain Athletics Association, on this achievement. HH commended the association's vision in creating a cond ucive environment for athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
