HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, issued today two laws and a new resolution, and they are as follows:
Law No.1 of 2022 to issue the Social Security Law. The law stipulated its implementation and enforcement after six months from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, with the exception of Articles 4 (fifth paragraph), 13 (first paragraph), 30 (first paragraph), which shall be enforced starting from the date of issuance of this law.
Law No.2 of 2022 on Military Retirement. The law stipulated its implementation and enforcement after six months from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, with the exception of Article 20 (second paragraph), which shall be enforced from the date of issuance of this law.
Resolution No.18 for the year 2022, to increase the pensions of retired individuals. The decision stipulated its implementation and enforcement from 1/4/2022, and to be published in the Official Gazette.
