Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (33) of 2024, ratifying the Kigali Amendment of 2016 to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, based on a proposal of the Prime Minister, and following the approval of the Cabinet. Article I The Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer has been ratified as amended in the Twenty-Eighth Meeting of the Parties, held in Kigali on October 10-15, 2016, in accordance with the text accompanying this decree. Article II The Prime Minister and the ministers - each in their capacity - shall implement the provisions of this decree, and it shall come into effect from the day following the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
