Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received the credentials of two new ambassadors to the Kingdom of Bahrain in a ceremony held at Al Sakhir Palace today. His Majesty received the credentials of Andrea Catalano, Ambassador of the Italian Republic, and Sultan Ali Yousef Mohammed Al Khater, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar. HM the King commended the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and the two countries. He wished the ambassadors success in performing their diplomatic missions. The ambassadors conveyed greetings and appreciation from their countries' leaderships, along with wishes of further development and prosperity for Bahrain and its people. His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Personal Representative of His Majesty the King; His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs; Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court; Dr. Abd ullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Fadhala, Chief of Royal Protocol, attended the ceremony. The ambassadors arrived separately at Al Sakhir Palace, where they were received by the Chief of Royal Protocol, and the customary ceremonies were conducted. Source : Bahrain News Agency
