Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited the new Royal Horse Stables of the Royal Guard of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) today. His Majesty was accompanied by His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Personal Representative of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Majesty's convoy was also accompanied by a group of Royal Guard cavalry. Upon arrival at the Royal Horse Stables, His Majesty was received by Lieutenant-General Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander; Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Royal Guard Special Force Commander; Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), and Major-General Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Nuaimi, Deputy Commander of the Royal Guard. The royal anthem was then played. HM the King was briefed by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad on the new Royal Horse Stables of the Ro yal Guard of the BDF, including the Ceremonial and Cavalry Group Command and its facilities. His Majesty expressed admiration and satisfaction with what he observed during the visit. His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, commended the Royal Guard for their impressive sporting achievements and dedicated efforts, which have led to impressive results at regional and international competitions. HM the King also praised their distinguished participation in national celebrations and events. His Majesty the King thanked HH Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad and all the members of the Royal Guard, commending their steadfast commitment to fulfilling their national duties.HM the King wished them further success. At the end of the visit, His Highness Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser presented a commemorative gift to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on this occasion.
