The housing distribution plans, which will last until the end of May, were announced during the visit of Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to East Sitra. Citizens will receive their housing units after completing electronic withdrawals and signing legal contracts. Daily distributions are scheduled by the ministry to expedite the distribution process. The ministry indicated that beneficiaries can make use of exclusive offers through Da'am (support) initiative provided by furniture and electronics showrooms, to furnish their newly received homes. The initiative covers beneficiaries in East Sitra, Salman City, and East Hidd City, which are projects that were included in the recent distribution plan of the Ministry, The ministry said that the initiative will stren gthen partnerships between the public and private sectors by providing citizens with housing support through offers and discounts that will help reduce the cost of moving into a new home.
