Manama, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (52) of 2024, designating the administrative authority and the minister responsible for associations, clubs, and private institutions engaged in journalistic, media, or advertising activities, based on the proposal of the Minister of Information and with the approval of the Cabinet. The edict stipulates the following: Article (I) The edict designated the Ministry of Information and the Minister of Information, as the responsible administrative authority and minister for associations, clubs, and private institutions engaged in journalistic, media, or advertising activities; as per the Law on Associations, Social and Cultural Clubs, and Private Bodies Working in the Field of Youth and Sports, issued by Decree Law No. (21) of 1989. Article (II) The Minister of Information shall implement the provisions of this edict, which shall come into effect the day after its publication in the Officia l Gazette. Source: Bahrain News Agency
