Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), received a cable of congratulations from Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, on the 22nd anniversary of the establishment of the SCW.
The Chairman praised the role of HRH Princess Sabeeka in leading the SCW's efforts aimed at promoting women’s advancement across all fields, within the framework of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Al Saleh stressed the pioneering role of the council in leading initiatives that contribute to the progress of Bahraini women, following up on their issues, maximising their contributions in various social, economic, professional and political fields, and consolidating their role as an active partner in comprehensive development.
