Manama, Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and the President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), congratulated Aisha Al Haram on winning the largest global award for young people in the space sector, the Young Space Leaders Award, organised by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF). HRH Princess Sabeeka lauded Al Haram's achievement of winning the Young Space Leaders Award at the Arab level, commending her successful track record. Her Royal Highness added that this achievement reflects the success of Bahraini women in various fields and their contributions to the Kingdom's progress, under the leadership of His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Engineer Aisha Al Haram, Head of the Satellite Design Department at the National Space Science Agency, was on one of six individuals to be selected for the award from a pool of 5200 competitors from 77 countries.
