HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister attends Bahrain Embassy reception in the United Kingdom

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today attended a reception held by the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Embassy, in the United Kingdom (UK).

The reception took place on the sidelines of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s official visit to the UK.

During the reception, His Royal Highness emphasised the Kingdom’s commitment to further its relations and partnerships with its allies, in line with the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the role of Bahrain’s diplomatic missions in consolidating relations and cooperation with its international allies, such as the United Kingdom.

His Royal Highness highlighted the deep-rooted and longstanding relationship between the two kingdoms, which has spanned over 200 years of partnerships across various areas.

In this regard, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad noted the importance of strengthening these collaborations towards shared goals to benefit both countries and their people.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad commended the efforts of Bahrain’s Ambassador to the UK, HE Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, as well as the Embassy, in consolidating British-Bahraini relations and exploring new opportunities for shared prosperity.

His Royal Highness noted the efforts of Bahrain’s embassies abroad in effectively implementing the Kingdom’s foreign policies and ensuring the wellbeing of Bahrainis in diaspora.

His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, praised His Royal Highness’ visit to the UK, sharing that his visit showcases Bahrain’s dedication to sustaining and advancing the longstanding partnership between Bahrain and the UK.

An objective that aligns with the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, and His Majesty King Charles III King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Head of the Commonwealth.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs commended both governments on their commitment to strengthening historic bilateral ties. Bahrain and the UK’s relationship spans over 200 years and continues to flourish due to the strategic leadership, exchange of face-to-face dialogues and joint coordination on regional and international developments of both countries.

His Excellency Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom, praised the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the United Kingdom, stressing that his visit symbolises both countries’ commitment to cooperation and shared desire to mutually develop.

His Excellency Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa added, the two friendly countries enjoy a strong and growing trade and investment relationship. He expressed, His Royal Highness’ official visit combined with dialogues held between senior Bahraini and British government officials will inject new momentum into Bahrain-UK partnerships, concluding that this is a crucial opportunity for both countries to deepen cooperation across various economic, commercial, investment and developmental fields.
