Manama, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (30) of 2024, restructuring the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), based on a proposal by the Minister of Tourism. Article (I) The BTEA Board of Directors will be reconstituted, chaired by the Minister of Tourism, and include the following members: 1- The President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA). (Member) 2- The CEO of BTEA. (Member) 3- The Assistant Undersecretary for Commercial Registration and Companies at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (Member) 4- The Executive Director of Tourism, Education, and Healthcare Investments at Bahrain EDB. (Member) 5- The CEO of Gulf Air. (Member) 6- The Chairman of BCCI Hospitality and Tourism Committee. (Member) 7- The Managing Director of Local Impact Investment at Mumtalakat. (Member) The term of membership in the Board shall be four years, and is renewable for a similar period. Article (II) The Edict shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette. Source: Bahrain News Agency
