Washington, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Washington DC. His Royal Highness highlighted the strength of historic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, which continue to underpin successful bilateral cooperation and partnerships across various fields. His Royal Highness noted the Kingdom's commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation, in line with the shared vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The meeting also reviewed ways to strengthen the Bahrain-UAE partnership, discussed topics of common interest, and assessed the latest regional and international developments.
