Manama, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Maldives, His Excellency Moosa Zameer, at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness received a letter addressed to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from the President of the Republic of the Maldives, His Excellency Dr Mohamed Muizzu. HE Zameer conveyed the greetings of the President of the Maldives to His Majesty the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed His Majesty's and his own greetings to the President of the Maldives. His Royal Highness emphasised that the continuous growth in bilateral cooperation contributes to advancing Bahrain-Maldives relations. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted Bahrain's commitment to advancing bilateral relations through enhanced joint cooperation and coordination at all levels in order to achieve mutual goals and aspirations, as well as prosperity and development for both countries and peoples. During the meeting, ways to enhance bilateral relations, regional and global developments and issues of common interest were also discussed. For his part, HE Zameer expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness's commitment to enhancing cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of the Maldives and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, also attended the meeting. Source : Bahrain News Agency
