Geneva, Pierre Krenbolt, Director General of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) recieved Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain, to the United Nations in Geneva. During the meeting, the Director General expressed his appreciation for the efforts and support of the Kingdom of Bahrain for relief and humanitarian work and its constant call for peace. He highlighted the cooperation between the Bahrain Red Crescent Society as well as the Bahraini side for the activities of the committee to provide humanitarian assistance regionally and internationally. On his part, Ambassador Abdullah emphasised the commitment of the Kingdom of Bahrain to supporting humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of those affected by conflicts, in cooperation with the ICRC.
