Doha, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, led Bahrain's delegation participating at the 66th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s Commercial Cooperation Committee hosted in Qatar. The minister of the GCC Ministries of Industry and Commerce, and Jassim Mohammed Al Budawi, Secretary-General of the GCC, attended the meeting. The meeting covered a range of key topics, including establishing an investment committee, updates on the GCC-China ministerial meeting and forum, briefings on affiliated trade committees, progress on intra-GCC trade challenges, free trade agreement negotiations, and the Commercial Arbitration Centre's annual report. The minister also attended the 52nd meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s Industrial Cooperation Committee and the periodic consultative meeting between the GCC Ministers of Commerce and the Heads of the GCC federations and chambers.
