Industry Minister meets Hipo Youth’s 6th batch

Manama, Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with the sixth batch of participants in the national leadership programme, Hipo Youth, organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in coordination with the Institute of Public Administration. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa and Eman Ahmed Al Doseri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. The minister welcomed the programme's members and highlighted the impact of Hipo Youth in enriching the experiences of Bahraini youth. He emphasised the programme's role in enabling participants to gain insights into administrative aspects across various sectors, equipping them with knowledge and skills that enhance their competitiveness. Minister Fakhro also shared his personal experiences in administration and leadership, discussing key leadership practices and successes, particularly in the field of government work. The Director General of the Institute of Public Administration under scored the significance of the programme, noting that the outstanding national outcomes of Hipo Youth over the years demonstrate the importance of training programmes in developing leadership skills, which, in turn, accelerates development in the Kingdom. She affirmed the Institute's ongoing support for initiatives and programmes that empower young people, providing an environment conducive to honing their skills and enhancing their active participation across various sectors. Dr. Shaikha Rana Al Khalifa commended the Minister of Industry and Commerce for his commitment to sharing his administrative and leadership experience. She noted that this approach broadens young people's horizons, enabling them to leverage successful administrative practices to create new and innovative initiatives that meet the demands of the present and future ambitions. Hipo Youth is an advanced youth leadership programme that aims to refine the capabilities of Bahraini youth to achieve the Kingdom's ambitions and aspirations.
