Several cities and towns in Deir Ezzor countryside, controlled by the separatist QSD militia, are witnessing ongoing fierce infighting between the QSD militia and the so-called Deir Ezzor Military Council.
The clashes erupted after arresting the leader of the aforementioned Council, Ahmad Al-Khabil Abu Khawla, after removing him from leading the Council for crimes he perpetrated in coordination with foreign hostile sides.
Identical local and media sources said that the clash included most of the cities and towns in Deir Ezzor countryside, causing deaths and injuries and mutual arrests between the two sides, in addition to carrying out field executions and damaging several vehicles for the militia.
