Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Interior Ministry Undersecretary, received a delegation from the regional mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), led by Wissam Syriani, coordinator of protection activities.
The visit comes in follow up of the implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed between the ministry and ICRC.
The undersecretary expressed his appreciation for the cooperation between the two sides, hailing the role of the mission in promoting the culture of human rights and developing the skills of those who are engaged in humanitarian work.
Syriani thanked the undersecretary, and looked forward to further cooperation between the two sides.
