The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested, since last night until today at dawn, at least 22 Palestinian civilians in the West Bank, including a journalist, a child and several freed captives. In a joint statement, Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) reported that most of the arrests took place across the governorates of Ramallah and Al-Khalil, while the rest occurred in the governorates of Tulkarm and Occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds). The statement indicated that these arrests were accompanied by violations and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to destruction and sabotage of Palestinians' homes. Since the beginning of Israel's ongoing genocide on the Gaza Strip, the number of detainees in the West Bank has reached more than 9,800 civilians, the statement added, adding that these arrests included those who were arrested from homes or through military checkpoints, as well as those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
