Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian discussed, in a phone call on Wednsday, with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, the latest security developments in the Middle East. During the call, the two presidents discussed the repercussions of the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of Hamas in Tehran, and the escalation in the Middle East, especially the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and southern Lebanon.
