Iraqi authorities announced Monday that five ISIS militants had been apprehended in the northern governorate of Nineveh.
The Iraqi Military Intelligence Directorate said in a statement that the five wanted militants were arrested during qualitative operations, based on accurate intelligence.
The detainees admitted they were involved in criminal operations against citizens.
They were referred to the concerned authorities for investigation and prosecution.
