Iraqi security forces on Sunday arrested an ISIS commander in the Anbar Governorate, west of Iraq. According to statement issued by the Security Media Cell and broadcasted by the Iraqi News Agency, military intelligence agents carried out a qualitative operation that resulted in the arrest of the wanted militant, who previously held the position of deputy governor of the so-called Euphrates State, in the Rumana District of the Anbar Governorate. The statement added that he had participated in many militant acts against Iraqi security forces in the past, adding that he was handed over to the relevant authorities. Source: Qatar News Agency
