The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ISESCO) has released the third series of specialised studies in Arabic for non-Arabic speakers. The Centre of Arabic Language for Non-Arabic Speakers at ISESCO oversees this project. The series comprises ten books authored by experts from nine countries: Saudi Arabia, Canada, the United States, Morocco, Palestine, Algeria, Malaysia, Iraq, and Brunei Darussalam. The series aims to enhance the global presence of the Arabic language, deepen scientific and educational research, and keep up with educational advancements in Arabic language teaching methods and materials. The topics in the third series include technological applications and artificial intelligence in second language teaching and learning, teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers in Canadian universities, reinforcement methods to facilitate language skills acquisition for Arabic learners, building vocabulary for Arabic learners, metacognitive strategies and classroom practices, com municative competencies, applications in teaching and learning Arabic for native and non-native speakers, an applied linguistic approach, and the role of mental representations in understanding lexical and syntactic semantics in teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers. Other topics include sustainable methodological reading of literary texts, advanced level for non-Arabic speakers, an approach in line with sustainable development goals, application of AI technology ChatGPT and its impact on teaching Arabic in Malaysian universities, cognitive references in teaching Arabic to Non-Arabic speakers, and cultural issues and their impact on teaching Arabic and its culture in Malay Archipelago countries."
