Occupied Jerusalem, The Islamic-Christian Committee in Support of Jerusalem and its Sanctuaries condemned on Wednesday, the Israeli occupation authorities' designation of United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) as a terrorist organization, demanding a firm international response. 'This decision confirms terrorist and brutal nature of the occupation, and constitutes an unprecedented challenge to the international community and disregard for its UN organizations', the committee was quoted by Wafa News Agency as saying in statement, adding that is a natural result of letting the occupation practice its crimes and terrorism away from any accountability and punishment The Committee stressed that this invalid decision of the occupation will not undermine UNRWA, which forms a living witness to the crimes committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people. The committee called on international community and European countries in particular to take effective decisions and measu res that confirm standing by UNRWA and supporting it financially and politically.
