The Israeli occupation warplanes intensified their airstrikes today on the Al Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of two Palestinians and widespread destruction of property. The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that civil defense crews recovered the bodies of two martyrs following the occupation's shelling of a residential apartment in the Al-Salahi Tower north of the Al Nuseirat camp. WAFA added that the Israeli warplanes launched successive air raids north of the camp, targeting two mosques. Israeli tanks also advanced north of the Al Nuseirat camp from the direction of Salah al-Din Street and Al Mughraqa, amid helicopter gunfire, and destroyed a large number of residential towers in the city of Al Zahra. In a preliminary toll, the number of martyrs since Oct. 7 last year has risen to 33,482 martyrs and 76,049 injured, with thousands of citizens still missing under the rubble and on the roads, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
