The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reported Thursday that a voluntary health center in the town of Blida was targeted by Israeli shelling. The Ministry expressed in a statement its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli entity's insistence on targeting health facilities the latest of which was Wednesday's attack in the vicinity of the Blida volunteer center in the civil defense that resulted in three vehicles carrying firefighting and road opening missions being put out of service with the paramedics managing to evacuate. The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health said that the health teams are carrying out their humanitarian duty and targeting them and the concerned facilities is a flagrant violation of all international charters, norms and laws that prohibit targeting health facilities. It called on the international community to assume responsibility for these extremely dangerous violations and to exert pressure on the Israeli entity to stop its continuing crimes in southern Lebanon.
