Israeli Occupation Navy Detains Palestinian Fishermen in Gaza

Israeli occupation navy Tuesday detained two Palestinian fishermen as they were sailing into the Gaza City sea and seized their fishing boat.

The Israeli navy attacked a fishing boat as it was sailing three nautical miles into Al-Sudaniya sea area, northwest of the Gaza city, and seized it before proceeding to detained two fishermen, according to Palestinian news agency (WAFA).

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale campaign of arrests on Tuesday in various parts of the West Bank.

Security sources said that the Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian east of Bethlehem, and three others north of Hebron after raiding several homes there.

In east Ramallah, the Israeli occupation forces arrested three Palestinians after raiding the villages of Burqa and Silwad. Furthermore, seven young men were arrested in the southern Jenin area.

In recent days, Israeli occupation forces have escalated their campaigns of raids and incursions into Palestinian villages and towns in the West Bank and Jerusalem. They have also increased the pace of arrests and shooting at young Palestinians, leading to the martyrdom of several Palestinians.
