Manama, In preparation for the 2024 Ashura season, Yousif bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Jaffari Endowments Council, received members of the General Authority for Husseini Processions at the administration's headquarters in Seef. At the outset, the Chairman expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for religious observances, including Ashura. He also underscored the significant backing this important observance has received from state institutions and official bodies. The Chairman praised the efforts of those working in maatams, husseiniyas, and Husseini processions across Bahrain, and commended the efforts of the General Authority for Husseini Processions in coordinating with the Jaffari Endowments to commemorate Ashura. The meeting discussed the arrangements for commemorations in Manama. The Chairman highlighted the high level of coordination between the ad ministration, maatams, and official bodies to ensure the religious observances are conducted seamlessly and safely.
