The Jaffari Endowments Council hailed the support and care provided to all places of worship and all religious seasons by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the follow-up of the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
In a statement today, it commended the role played by the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, as well as the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and all other competent official authorities in providing the appropriate conditions for these religious events.
Jaffari Endowments Council Chairman Yusuf bin Saleh Al Saleh urged scholars, mosque khateebs and other platforms to avail of the Islamic teachings to promote national unity, and adhere to the pure Husseini spirit during the upcoming Ashoora season.
He stressed the importance of promoting moderation and unity, underlining the need to steer away from any politicization of the event in order to safeguard national unity and social cohesion.
