Jerusalem - Together - The Jerusalem Governorate Electricity Company completed new projects in the Jericho, Al-Aghwar and Jerusalem governorates at a cost exceeding 800 thousand shekels. In the industrial zone in Jericho and Al-Aghwar Governorate, the Jerusalem Company completed a project to extend two underground high-pressure circuits with a length of 1,600 meters from 'the Industrial Cities Junction towards the air network that was renovated and converted into a double circuit with a length of 800 metres.' The old electrical network was also rehabilitated and the Industrial Cities station was connected to the Maghats station to accommodate loads during the peak period, reduce problems and outages, and improve the performance of the electrical network and the quality of electrical services in the region, at a cost of 540 thousand shekels and with self-financing. In the towns of Hizma and Anata in the Jerusalem Governorate, the company completed the rehabilitation of the high-voltage line from Anata Junct ion to the town of Hizma and built a double circuit instead of the old circular columns, in addition to renovating a 2.5 km long aerial network and converting it into a double circuit, at a cost of about 375 thousand shekels. The project aims to connect the two circuits coming from Al-Ram station to Hizma with the two circuits coming from Khan Al-Ahmar to Anata, renewing the aerial network, improving the reliability of electrical current in the villages of East Jerusalem, reducing future problems, and improving the quality of electrical services there. The Jerusalem Governorate Electricity Company confirmed the continuation of developing its services to provide high-quality electricity in all concession areas, in line with the vision of the company's general management.
