Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies celebrated the graduation of the National Defense Course No. (4) and the Joint Command and Staff Course No. (10) at the Academy's headquarters in Al Khor city. The ceremony was held under the patronage and presence of HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, and in the presence of HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, HE Commander of the Amiri Guard Lieutenant General Hazza bin Khalil Al Shahwani, HE Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal Al-Thani, a number of senior officer commanders in the armed forces and military authorities, and a number of officials and diplomats in the country. The participants in those two courses included high-ranking members of the armed forces units, military and security authorities, and senior employees in ministries and institutions in the country, in addition to the participation of a number of off icers from fraternal and friendly countries. The ceremony also honored outstanding students and graduates and saw a presentation on the most important stages of the educational process at the academy. HE President of the Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies Major General Fahd bin Mubarak Al Khayareen presented HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah with the academy's postage stamp, issued by the Qatar Postal Services Company "Qatar Post" in cooperation with the Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the founding of the academy.
