Doha: The Cultural Village Foundation - Katara announced on Wednesday a series of events and performances to celebrate Eid Al Adha, starting Sunday. In a statement, Katara revealed that audiences will be treated to a variety of musical and theatrical performances, including a play titled "The Garden of Dreams." Additionally, there will be performances by groups from China, Syria, Morocco, Jordan, and several African countries, along with the traditional Qatari ardha dance and a show by the Police Music Band. The Eid Al Adha program will also feature a wide range of art workshops for children, including drawing, coloring, crafts, and origami workshops. Katara will distribute 'Eidiyah' (Eid gifts) to visitors in their cars at designated points around Katara's streets. Astronomy enthusiasts can look forward to a series of 3D movies in Arabic and English on the second day of Eid. Over the three days of Eid, the public will also enjoy nightly fireworks displays along the Katara Corniche, starting at 10 PM and l asting for ten minutes. Additionally, art exhibitions such as "Resilience" in Building 18, Gallery 2, and "Summer 2" in Building 13 will remain open to visitors from 10 AM to 10 PM.
