The price of Kuwaiti oil went down USD 1.36 to USD 80.47 pb on Friday's trading, compared to USD 81.83 pb on Thursday, according to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC). In the global markets, oil prices declined Friday to stabilize at their lowest levels since January 2024, following data showing that the U.S. economy added fewer jobs than anticipated in July. Additionally, Chinese economic data indicated weak manufacturing activity in July for the third consecutive month. On a global scale, the price of the Brent crude futures' contracts went down USD 2.17 to settle at USD 76.81 pb, as did the West Texas Intermediate crude, down USD 2.79 to USD 73.52 pb.
